Post CommentWe're so excited! You can order the Under The Mud DVD today from our website, or get it from your local HMV or Borders, and even Asda stores on Merseyside.
There's been a fair bit more amazing Under The Mud news recently too - we got a great review in the Independent which we've listed on the new reviews page of our website.
It really is all systems go on release day: there's a piece about us due in Liverpool Echo this week, and Roy Boulter (Producer), Adam Bailey ("Karl Potts") and Mick Colligan (writer /"DJ Worm") have been interviewed for Radio Four's Upfront show to be broadcast tonight at 17.55.
There's also a Radio Merseyside interview on Thursday at 5.30 - and don't forget to check out our fun radio ad with Ricky Tomlinson if you haven't already!

Post CommentOk, maybe our American backers and fans won't realise quite how hilarious that catchphrase-invoking title really is. But trust us - it's great :-)
Earlier this week legendary Liverpool actor Ricky Tomlinson kindly donated his time to record a radio advert for Under The Mud, which you can listen to over at Soundcloud - http://soundcloud.com/und/under-the-mud-radio-advert-with-ricky-tomlinson
Ricky's always been a big supporter of the film, first meeting the writers at a London film event, when the script was still being written. Ricky's delighted that the film is finally being released on DVD - and said how much he enjoyed watching the film again. He also loved the extras DVD, which he hadn't seen before.

Posted project update #5Dates for your diary - UTM on the airwaves!
Post CommentJust a quick shout-out to you with some exciting Under The Mud news - the film's producer Roy Boulter (pictured below with High School Musical star Zac Efron!) is going to be guest on a couple of radio shows talking about Under The Mud.
The day before the film's release, Sunday 1st November, he'll be on both Liverpool's City Talk 105.9 and Radio City 96.7 chatting to Pete Price on his show about Under The Mud and what we're doing with Kickstarter.
On the release day itself (Monday 2nd November) he'll be on City Talk's Take 5 show, choosing some of his favourite records and talking about the film.
Thanks to all our backers word is spreading, and we know these radio slots are going to a great help in edging us ever-closer towards our goal! Exciting...

Posted project update #4The "Voice of Anfield" is Under The Mud's newest fan!
"Two words and the second one is Brilliant! I just had the weekend from Hell and it cheered me up no end!"
We're chuffed to have just received the above endorsement and some words of encouragement from Liverpool football stadium announcer George Sephton (pictured below). What's more, he's even going to play some tunes from the Under The Mud soundtrack and give us a shout-out at the next few home games, helping to further spread the word - thanks George!And that's not the only exciting news we've had recently - it's now official that Under The Mud is going to be available for download from iTunes from 2nd November. Under The Mud HQ is also currently packed to the rafters with boxes of hot-off-the-press shiny new DVDs, each complete with an hour of extras, and these are going to be available to buy in HMV and Borders from the November release date too.
But of course, we want to make sure the DVDs positively fly off the shelves when they're out - so keep spreading the word and getting your friends and family to pledged a few quid towards getting our amazing Mud bus on the road.
Be quick though...a little bird tells us that some local radio DJs are going to be getting involved with our campaign next week, so make sure you get the credit for discovering us before everyone knows!

Really cool to see a game that abandons what has become the defining feature of many iPhone games (touch controls) to try to do something really original (or at least, isn't Flight Control 2)! Would be interested to know more about the developers' background etc. - who is it that'll be making this? Reassure us how cool it's gonna be :-p

Wow! Maybe you could get them to convince the coach driver to play the DVD for the team on the next long journey (maybe somewhere on the South Coast it must get boring, when do we play Portsmouth) a couple of donations from the Stevie and his mates would go a long way!
