Posted project update #4Good news
Post CommentIt's not over till its over. Even though the clock has run out on Kickstarter, we are still excited to keep working on making this great project with Xeno and Oaklander.
One of the potential donors we mentioned yesterday in an update has contacted us and is interested in helping fund the video. The Kickstarter timeframe was too soon for them. However, it looks like we are going to continue working with them in the next few weeks and maybe find ourselves with what we we had as a goal.
Your help has meant the world to us. We still may need your pledges if funding from this donor comes through. Our next step is to reorganize our fundraising efforts; stay tuned for upcoming events. For updates that will continue after Kickstarter please email us your addresses to the following location:

Posted project update #2We Broke a Grand! Thanks to you!
Post CommentDear Backers,
In the last 72 hours, we made a little over $800, breaking through a grand and upwards. The money we've raised so far will be enough to rent some lighting equipment and a car mount for the drive to the airport.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Pieter Schoolwerth, Fabienne Lasserre , Brian Zegeer, Cheyney Thompson , Roddy Bogawa , Jeff , Marc Handelman , Ethan with no last name , Carlos Huby , Ben Lee, John Herring, Egan Frantz , Frank Deserto , Naomi Ramirez , Rashaad Newsome , Dawn Kinstle , Charles Mayton , Scott Kiernan , Ian Colletti , Luke Stettner, Christian Flanders and last but definitely not least, Boodee–whoever you are, you made us very happy yesterday. Here are some pictures of the sparkling merch you'll be getting.
We're learning a lot as we go in this fundraiser.
Xeno and Oaklander are an amazing band. Liz and Sean have been "doing their thing for quite a while" as Gustavo Turner said a few weeks ago in his blog for LA Weekly. They have been faithful and steady in their approach to making music and art, both individually, and together since they started their duo project in 2004. We feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work with a band that is on fire.

Posted project update #1Thank You, three weeks to go and a sneak peek
Post CommentDear early sponsors,
Your financial and moral support is immeasurably helpful.
You have boosted our spirits and the potential of this project with your donations and we're so grateful to you, our early backers. We thought you might like to see some of our storyboards, here they are.
We are bolstered by your help.
We still have a long way to go with 20 days left.We want to ask for your help. Approach 3 friends individually, tell them about the project, and how important it is to support cultural production that will be offered for free through the internet. If each of you were able to get 3 friends to each donate $20, we could make $720 (whoa! maths!).
With eternal thanks+more soon!
