Posted project update #2We've found matching funds!
Post CommentFirst of all we want to extend a big Thank You to those of you who have contributed to our Kickstarter Campaign!!!! We say this from the bottom of our hearts.
We have an exciting announcement. An Anonymous Donor has pledged matching funds for those who contribute from now until January 1st! That means, if you contribute as little as $1, we will get $ 2.
We have a good start, but a long way to go, so please consider donating whatever you can afford.
Also we need you to spread the word about this project , so please send an email, phone, or get face-to-face with any and all artists and art supporters you know and tell them about this campaign. Paste this URL into your emails to them:http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1379937313/getting-your-sh-t-together-business-of-art-softwar
If we make it to $5000, we will have it made. If we make it to $10,000 we will be styling! The new software is shaping up and will support great new features. So help us get this software finished, so we can start on the next project supporting artists. You will get great stuff in return, and a mention on our website for your support!
If you have not checked in with us lately, or had time to read our newsletters, we have a lot of NEW support services for artists, including a Skills Data Bank (if you are looking for paid work), image scanning services, data entry, documentation of your work (still or video), video editing, proof reading, and more.
The Future of GYST:
We are looking at adding a grant reviewing service, online access to GYST software, and adding more resources for you on our website. Please let us know if you would like these additions. If all goes well, we will be launching our new software in February of 2010 just in time for the College Art Association Conference in Chicago.
So, Happy Holidays Everyone and may 2010 be a successful year for all of you! And let us know if we can help!
Best regards,
Karen Atkinson (founder) and the rest of the GYST Team
