Definitly theremin! For many reasons in fact: it`s as much a French musical instrument as the accordion could look like, it`s quite moody and melancholic so it fits with the story and the idea of the theremin interacting with the TV is really clever and should not be spoiled. But let`s say you would have to stay with the accordion, there are a few electronic models that work with an amp and so on that you could still use the electric static trick within the movie...Here in Quebec, there has been a few years ago a quite succesful romantic comedy movie where one of the main character was playing theremin for a living, so it doesn`t seems so weird for people around here. But as everyone says, you`re the boss, it`s your show, we gave you the opportunity to express your artistic vision, so go on as you see the best!...
