    commented on a project

After reading the commentary about this project, if I were a rich person I would send all the money you need. It is a wonderful representation of of alienation from Mother Earth. I keep the famous speech written by Chief Seattle to Congress about "How can one think they can sell the air" on my living room table for all to see. I believe in what your message is and would treasure the opportunity to provide something on behalf of your financial needs. I have forwarded this link to my nephew who participated in a documentary here in the Willamette Valley. The project was featured at the Da Vinci film festival in Corvallis Oregon and will possibly be in the Sundance Film Festival. I would like to see if there is any assistance available through his connections to reach your goal of $25,000. My real name is Oleta...Oleta Little Heart was the pen name for a famous native american author. She wrote about an Indian Princess. Oleta Little Heart stands for tall tree. I am proud of my grandmother's heritage, and mine. I love your story line and would like to pay forward in some way as an honor to see this to completion. As a matter of fact, I lived in Arizona, used to travel to the Navajo Nation for business, and loved it there. I am aware of the mining issues for uranium and the struggle's the Navajo people have faced. Do you remember the movie Broken Rainbow years ago, that was my first introduction to the Navajo courage. I remember walking out of this documentary angry as heck. Now, years later, I see your story and want to say thank you for continuing to speak to the world about what is happening to our planet. My friend Dennis Alley and I visited many times and discussed what he was doing to bring awareness to people of a issue that was close to his heart...diabetes and drug and alcholol abuse among the native people. I became aquainted with Douglas Miles from the Apache Nation who was bringing out the best of his heritage through art, poetry and writing...traveled and lectured. I own the book, "In the spirit of Crazy Horse" and "Black Elk Speaks" among other journals that have been written to preserve the story's of past life for many Native American people. Beautiful way of life...built on courage, journey, strength as a community of people and belief in Mother Earth. Being responsible to Mother Earth and the gifts we are given. I want to say "Good day Good Journey"....I hope to be of some help to you.
