Post CommentMastering is finished. The CD with artwork has gone to the duplicator and is on track for the 9/30 release. I've attached a copy of the album art below. The digital tracks with liner notes, lyrics and artwork are in place at iona.bandcamp.com and are available for download.
Those of you who pledged for the download will be receiving your authorization code shortly.
This would not have happened without the support of all the backers. IONA lives because of you!

Just another $180 before midnight will get us the $1000 match and put us over the top on the project. Can we do it?
Today we mixed the last track for the CD. Next week some final tweaking and on to mastering. It's gonna happen one way or the other!

Post CommentSeveral folk have asked how to increase their pledge.
If you go to the Kickstarter "Help" button across the top, select "FAQs", and then "Backing a Project", there is a lot of info.
Specifically:
How can I change my pledge amount?Visit the project page and click “Manage Your Pledge.” Enter a new amount in the pledge amount box. Note that you are not adding to your existing pledge; the amount you enter will be the total amount collected if the project is successfully funded.

Great News!
A loyal fan, whom we'll refer to as Dan from Silver Spring is offering to match the next $1,000 in pledges until Friday midnight EDT.
If you've been thinking about pledging, now is a great time to double the effectiveness of your contribution.
If you've already pledged, how about encouraging a friend or two to get involved? Even a small contribution will be worth twice as much to us.
With your help our goal is attainable, but by no means certain. These matching funds could make all the difference.
Here's what Dan wrote to us:
As you know, I have already pledged through the kickstart program. I'm sad that you all haven't gotten more interest given the commitment you all have made to Celtic music in DC over the years.So, as a way to encourage more folks to contribute, I'd like to offer a "challenge grant".
