    YOUR SUPPORT IS APPRECIATED!

Another heart-felt thanks to all of you who have pledged your support to Good Dirt Radio!

After 6 years of non-profit, all volunteer efforts and with the dire need for education as a means to empower people with the 'tools and ideas' needed to make a lifestyle shift, Good Dirt Radio is poised to launch our national Weekly Wake-Up series and spread critical information about solutions to climate change. Your support will help us continue to expand GDR's reach with our passion for providing positive examples about tangible, low tech solutions... FREE to any and all radio stations, as well as through our website and podcasts. You can always podcast or hear our programming for free at www.gooddirtradio.org

Please spread the word to your friends and family members, who are interested in helping promote solutions to climate change, about Good Dirt Radio's Kickstarter campaign. They can also help us spread simple, money and energy saving ideas that can lead to sustainable lifestyles, solutions that can help us change the course of climate history!

We are working on a series of new reports about how important it is for folks to 're-evaluate' their food consumption habits and why shifting to organically produced foods is a HUGE positive solution for climate change. It turns out that switching our croplands to organic food production techniques creates healthy soils, plants, animals and photosynthesis which can, in turn, sequester ENORMOUS amounts of CO2 and other dangerous gases, including those from other sources such as industry and transportation. We can all vote with our food dollars! Instead of buying processed and refined products from industrialized, chemical fertilizer/pesticide/ insecticide based factory food corporations, we can all make an effort to support organic farmers and products, local farmers' markets AND make a positive difference in our personal health... and that of the Earth.

Thanks again for your generous support !

The Dirt Bags... digging up good news... for a change!

New story is up on www.gooddirtradio.org

Hey all ! Thanks to those who have started us off in the process of getting the climate series produced! For those of you that are curious of the types of stories we do, check out our new program on Doug Fine, called "Petro Fast" . This is a story of a city guy from the ‘burbs', finding his way out... of a commercial, petroleum based, urban bubble… to live locally and in balance with the biosphere.

You can play the audio file below this message (petro_fast.mp3)

or see more detail over at our site here: (full transcripts etc)

(Then come back and lend your support.)

    Cheers,
    The Dirt Bags.
