    NEWS!

Hey guys! We'll be headed over to pick up the vinyl tomorrow afternoon! After that, I'll be getting in touch to get you your record (if you pre-ordered one) as well as your reward, if you haven't gotten it yet. One option is to join us at the Turf Club Clown Lounge this Thursday the 9th from 8-10pm. We'll be having a listening party for The West End and giving away some additional prizes. Otherwise, the album release is on Sat., Dec. 18th at the Turf! We'll be playing, along with Molly Maher, Erik Koskinen, and Kid Dakota!

Of course, if you can't make either, we'll make arrangements for you to get your stuff...

    best,
    Martin

    hey hey!

    Hi everyone,
just wanted to get in touch and let you know that the record is off to the plant and likely being cut this weekend! I'll be receiving a test pressing after that, then submitting the artwork. If everything goes smoothly, we'll have the actual LPs in hand by mid-November. The record release is now set for Dec. 18th at the Turf Club in St. Paul! In the meantime, I'd like to start putting feelers out there for how to get you guys your rewards for helping in this project's development.

Hopefully by now you have gotten the download of the song "Don't Wait." If you were part of the presale option on any level, we obviously can't get you the record yet, but for those of you that maybe got one of the posters or something, please drop me a line at martin@eclectone.com so we can figure out if you want me to mail you something or ifI'll see you out and about and can just hand it to ya. If I haven't heard from you in a couple weeks, I'll contact you directly. Otherwise, everything is looking great!
    thanks again,
    Martin

    the latest....

Hi everyone. Just wanted to keep you up to date on the goings on here at Devaney central.
I recently got a mastered cd back from Tom Herbers, so I will be able to email you a link to the download for "Don't Wait" sometime next week, barring something weird coming up. Also, in the next week, I should be sending off the tapes to be mastered for vinyl and then to be pressed. We are not sure on the turnaround time yet, but I will let you know as soon as I know. We'll also be taking some photos with Jenn Barnett and trying to nail down artwork in the meantime.

At some point soon, I'll be sending out requests to figure out how to best get your rewards to you while we wait for the records to come back.

    talk to ya, thanks again!

    Success!!

Thanks everyone for uh, kicking in to help this happen. I'll be in touch this week to get you all the digital single for starters, followed by the rewards you chose. I should know something about the turnaround time on the LP this week, too. Thanks again. It really was amazing of you all to step up like this.
    soon,

    24 hours to go!

    Hey Everyone,
With your help, we are at 92% of our goal with one day to go! It means so much to have your support as we dive into what lies ahead. Just a bit of an update: This weekend, studio/sound wiz and all around great guy Tom Herbers will be mastering the album for the download as well as the small run of CDs I imagine we'll do for promo and the folks who absolutely only want a CD. This will be a small run, but if you've pledged and don't want an LP, we'll figure out how to get you one of these or at least a copy of the record on a CDR or something.

Tom will also be preparing our tapes to go to the vinyl pressing plant in the next week. After that, we'll have some idea on the turnaround time for those. I can work out getting the rewards to you in the meantime, starting with the "Don't Wait" digital single. Sometime soon, I'll announce an album release show.

Finally, we'll be banging out the album artwork with Mr. Eric Kassel, who has done several album projects in the Twin Cities over the years when he's not being a total kickass guitar player in bands like The Magnolias or, ahem, Crossing Guards.

    More soon! We're almost there!
    luv,
    Martin
