Posted project update #2Project Postponed
Post CommentFirst of all, I want to thank everyone who backed my project. Unfortunately, I am going to have to postponed the entire project for a while. I am still very interested in the Busker's project, but due to some significant life changes, must focus on other things for the time being.
I will let everyone know when I am ready to fire this up again and get the book published.
Take care,
Don Crossland -

Posted project update #1Shooting Heather
Post CommentI met Heather in the subway at Grand Central Station where the 4,5,6 connects to the 7. She was smiling at passers-by and playing her violin. She is pretty good. I told her about the project and gave her some links to check out, and she emailed me to tell me she would like to be part of the project.
I met her at her regular Friday spot the following week and shot some pictures of her in action. We then went into the main hall of Grand Central Station and drew a crowd with cameras as I was shooting her.
Heather was great to work with and it was a lot of fun. She was a little hesitant at first, but then the performer in her came out and we got some great shots. This one is my favorite of her so far.
