Posted project update #1Project Relaunch :: Coming Soon!
Post CommentHey Friends!
So, we're changing things up here on Kickstarter a bit. Us Northstar folk have been talkin' and strategizin', and we feel like we need to relaunch our project. Set our goal higher, give ourselves more time, and really put in some heavy duty effort.
When we originally made our project on Kickstarter, we set our goal low -- just $1,500. We wanted to give ourselves a chance to experiment with the site, and better understand the culture of its users, and strategies for really making it work.
But we're done experimenting! We're confident that we can raise enough money to get us significantly closer to opening our doors. This is by no means a defeat for us -- in fact, we're ecstatic! We're going to do a ton of outreach here in Portland, Oregon, and get our local backers to translate their support into Kickstarter pledges.
Our new project will feature:
- more frequent updates
- a few video updates here and there
- a whole lot of outreach amongst our local supporters here in Portland, Oregon.
- lots of virtual high fives. and <3.The Northstar Collective.
