We've got 6 days left of our campaign to raise $3,000 for JUMP!We're almost 1/3 of the way there - we have $819 (+ another $170 I've been promised by someone who I know will come through - giving us $989) at this point.
We're headed into a busy busy week - tomorrow is the 2 year Anniversary of Uhuru Afrika (http://www.facebook.com/event.php...), our annual NextAid World AIDS day Benefit, and the celebration of Adam Gibbons birthday; Thursday is JUMP! featuring Kaleta & Zozo Afrobeat (http://www.facebook.com/event.php...); we just got tickets in for our New Years Eve party (http://www.facebook.com/event.php...); and of course, early on Friday this campaign will end.
We've been very busy letting folks know about this campaign, and letting people know about all our parties in December.
Despite all this business, we have not forgotten to take some moments to be thankful - for our community, our family, and our friends. Those who inspire us to create this party. Those whom we are blessed to party with each and every month. If nothing else, this campaign has revived and inspired us with deepening these connections. The reflecting back to us of the support those of you have pledged already is humbling.
Now, please humble us a little more. Give a birthday present pledge to Adam. Whatever your reason - you love the music, you love the community, you know that these parties offer a space and welcoming space for you to be, to dance, to love. Spread the word. Donate just $5.
