Verifying your Amazon Payments account

You must have a fully verified Amazon Payments business account to launch your project. To see what steps you need to complete, visit your Amazon Payments profile

Remember, you must log in to verify the exact same Amazon Payments account used when you created your project - all pledges are permanently tied to that account. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Kickstarter customer support, but we've spent a bit of time creating this page so you don't have to wait for our help.

Verifying your email address

When creating your Amazon Payments account, Amazon sent an email with a link to verify your email address. Amazon will not process transactions until that email address has been verified.
To fix:

  1. Visit  https://payments.amazon.com/sdui/sdui/overview and log in to Amazon Payments with the exact same email address and password you used when you registered your project to receive funds (important!).
  2. Look for the "Verify your email address" link in the yellow notifications box. Click on the link.
  3. On Step 1 of the next page, use the link to generate a new email verification that will be sent to your email address.
  4. Find the email in your inbox and click on the link.
  5. That's it! While you're here, please take a moment to ensure both your bank account and credit card are verified.

Adding a bank account

You must add and verify your bank account to launch your project. To do this:

  1. Visit https://payments.amazon.com/sdui/sdui/overview and log in to Amazon Payments with the exact same email address and password you used when you registered your project to receive funds (important!).
  2. Once logged in:
    1. If you see an "Add a bank account" link in the blue "Enhance your account" box (Image 2A), click on the link and follow the instructions on the next page.
    2. If you previously started bank account verification (but did not finish), you should see a "Verify your bank account instantly" link in the yellow notifications box (Image 2B). Click on the link and follow the instructions on the next page.

Adding a credit card

Amazon requires accounts to have a valid US credit card on file for verification purposes. To add a credit card:

  1. Visit https://payments.amazon.com/sdui/sdui/overview and log in to Amazon Payments with the exact same email address and password you used when you registered your project to receive funds (important!).
  2. Look for the "Add a credit card" link in the yellow notifications box.
  3. Click on the link and follow the instructions on the next page. (You'll need a valid US credit card.)
