Waxing Romantic with Animal Crayons!

Crystal Ayala makes crayons! And not just your average batch of half-broken nubs served at the local diner. She handcarves detailed molds in whimsical animal shapes like "Peacock,' "Elephant," and "Sloth" — and then casts them in a variety of pretty colors, including, my favorite, marbled rainbow. Her Kickstarter project was small but sweet, raising just enough to cover the production costs for a line of six different critters. Since its success, she's been hard at work carving and creating, plus (aww!) thanking her backers
