Occasionally, we like to peek into YouTube’s collective consciousness to see what they’re saying about Kickstarter.  Here are three recent highlights:

Brooklyn singer-songwriter Jenny Owen Youngs raised nearly $35,000 on her incredibly successful project to record her new album.  Her drummer Elliot volunteered to get his chest waxed if her $20,000 goal was reached in the first two days, which was reached in the first 28 hours.  

“I asked Elliot to try and shout the names of Kickstarter donors who I randomly selected… He got through Nicholas Montgomery and Esteban Gomez before resigning himself to more predictable ‘ow!’s and ‘askrgjajshgdlhdfg’s.”

Darth Vader wants you to use Kickstarter to back Danny Cameron’s Under the Western Sun film project.
